  1. The promoter is OK Furniture [a trading division of OK Bazaars (Namibia) Ltd] (“the Promoter”).
  1. The promotional competition is open to all Namibian residents and who are in possession of a valid identity document, passport or document of proof of Namibian residency, as the case may be. Any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members may not enter or participate in the Competition and will automatically be disqualified upon entry.
  1. Any participant under the age of 18 (Eighteen) years must be fully assisted by his/her parent or guardian, who approves of and consents to such participant’s participation in the competition and such participant’s receipt/possession of the prize.
  1. This promotional competition is open from 25 March 2024 and ends at 12am (midnight) on 26 May 202 Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered. Winners will be selected and notified 4 (four) weeks after the campaign has ended.
  1. To enter, participants will be required to:
  • Purchase any item on cash or on credit, from any of our OK Furniture stores to be automatically entered into the competition;

 

  • Lay-by purchases do not qualify for this competition.

 

  • Purchase any items on cash and carry and scan the QR code in-store to register to enter into the competition. See in-store leaflets for more details. Participants registering via the QR code must enter in their correct contact details. If a winner has given incorrect contact details, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner in terms of the rules.

 

  1. Participants must keep their invoice or delivery note as proof of purchase.
  1. Participants could win N$ 100 000.00 (one hundred thousand) worth of in-store products up until 26 May 2024 or when the competition ends, should it be earlier than the defined closing date.
  1. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
  1. All winners will be required to provide their full names, ID numbers and contact details and to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of the prize.
  1. Winners will be selected by means of a random draw. Winners will be notified telephonically and will be required to verify their details. The Promoter (or their agent) will endeavor to contact the prize winner once every day for 5 (five) consecutive working days after their name is drawn.  If the prize winner cannot be contacted during this period, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be randomly selected in accordance with the rules.
  1. Failure to claim a prize within a period of 2 weeks after being contacted and/or a refusal or inability to comply with these terms and conditions will result in the disqualification of the relevant winner and a new winner will be drawn in their place at the sole discretion of the
  1. Once the Promoter is ready to hand over the prize, the winner will be notified of the details, and they will need to travel to the selected store where they entered the competition to receive the prize.
  2. The winner of the prize will then select products in store to the total value of N$ 100 000.00;
    • The prize value excludes delivery of the goods so selected by the prize winner and if the prize winner wishes to have the goods delivered to their residence, or otherwise, delivery will be quoted separately; and
    • With reference to clause 8, above, if the prize winner selects goods in store to a value that is lower than N$ 100 000.00, the prize winner will forfeit the difference and, conversely, if the prize winner selects goods in store to a value that is greater than N$ 100 000.00, the prize winner will have to pay in the difference at the cashier counter.
  1. Winners will only be selected within the jurisdiction that they entered; no participant will be eligible    to    win    outside    of    the    jurisdiction    in    which    they   had       
  1. The Promoter shall not be liable for any manufacturing faults, recalls, damage or loss of or to any product once handed over to the winner.
  1. No person may win two or more prizes for this promotion. Winners may not win a Promoter competition more than once in a 90 (ninety) day period. Any winners drawn who have won in the last 90 (ninety) days will be disqualified from the Competition and another winner will be drawn. No person may win two prizes for this promotion.

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to name winners publicly and any other place where the Promoter deems fit. By entering the competition, prize winners agree to the publication of their name by the Promoter.
  1. Any personal data submitted by you will be used solely in accordance with data protection legislation of each participating country and the Promoter’s privacy policy.
  1. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entries for any reason whatsoever.
  1. The Promoter shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this promotion that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
  1. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer or cell phone hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any claim if fraud or cheating is suspected, including without limitation, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data.
  1. Any attempt to use any tactics to enter more than the stated limit may result in disqualification and all associated entries will be void. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, commercial contest subscription, incentives or other means not sponsored by the Promoters, vote-swapping sites, voting software, entering service sites or any other automated means and entries by any means that subvert the entry process or do not conform to the terms or spirit of these competition rules, will void the entry and may disqualify the entrant.
  1. The Promoter may refuse to award the prize if entry procedures or these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices.
  1. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to use the images taken of the winners for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without remuneration being made payable to the winner. However, the winner has the right to object to these images (within a reasonable time) being used by written notification to the Promoter at 1 Brickfield Road, Meadowdale Mall, Edenvale and/or Private Bag X10036, Edenvale, 1610, South Africa Att : Legal Department.
  1. The Promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice, if deemed necessary in its opinion and if circumstances arise outside of their control. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents. 
  1. Neither the Promoter, its agents, associated companies, nor any directors, officers or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant.

  1. The promoter is OK Furniture [a trading division of Shoprite Checkers (Pty) Ltd, OK Bazaars (Swaziland) Pty Ltd and OK Bazaars (Lesotho) (Pty) Ltd] (“the Promoter”).
  1. The promotional competition is open to all South African, Lesotho, and eSwatini residents and who are in possession of a valid identity document, passport or document of proof of South African, Lesotho or eSwatini residency, as the case may be.   • Participants will receive 1 (one) entry for every participating brand item purchased, irrelevant of the amount of transactions processed to purchase multiple participating brand products;



Therefore, as an example: a participant purchases 3 (three) of the participating brand items (1 x Hisense brand, 1x Samsung brand, 1 x Restonic brand) in one transaction, this will equate to 3 (three) entries for that specific transaction.  If a participant goes back for a second purchase the next week, of another Samsung brand (1 item), the participant will receive another entry into the competition. The participant will now have 1 (one) entry for the Hisense brand draw, 1(one) entry for the Restonic brand draw and 2 (two) entries for the Samsung brand draw.

  1. Participants must keep their invoice or delivery note as proof of purchase.
  1. Participants could win 1 (one) of 15 (fifteen) Toyota Vitz 1.0 litre MT(52P) up until 26 May 2024 or when the competition ends, should it be earlier than the defined closing date. The aforementioned 15 vehicles are the total number of prizes in the competition and there is no specific allocation of the number of vehicles that can be won in any of the participating countries.
  1. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
  1. All winners will be required to provide their full names, ID numbers and contact details and to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of the prize.
